    It's just ok

    Together with my wife I have stayed at Crystall Inn over the past 10 years. It's not fancy ...it's clean and basic ...and has always represented good value for money. During our most recent stay in October 2014 there was a noticeable drop in standards and it's borderline whether or not it's still good value for money especially at 1200 bhat per night . The positive features of Crystall Inn are cleanliness and location although I would prefer it if it was closer to town rather than a 10 minute walk. Well that's about it for positive features. It's worth mentioning though that the thoroughly miserable staff on the front desk in previous years have been replaced thank god with more pleasant ones. Now for the negatives: 1. whilst the water pressure is good the showers are cold/coolish. I prefer hot showers. 2.The bathrooms are clean but rather grubby and need renovated. 3.There is no safety deposit box in rooms nor are there any deposit facilities at reception. This means that money, travellers cheques and passports have to be carried about all day in a money belt in hot sticky weather. So take a supply of sandwhich bags to avoid sodden passports. I will now think twice about staying here again 4. The breakfast is merely adequate.

    location, room size and decoration.it's convenient. room is big and nicely decorated. family mart is near by. it's a city center.

    Acceptable, but nothing special

    We booked this hotel because our flight landed at Phuket too late to get the boat to Phi Phi. I had asked them to book the boat, but no response so made the booking myself. The hotel is nothing special, just a standard hotel, no great view or very special room. Only booked this as almost everything else was booked for the newyear period.

    Good location

    Good location, lots of places to eat on the doorstep, supermarket close by hotel, friendly staff, rooms were basic but clean, good vale for the money. I was only here for 1 night as a stop off before going to Phi Phi the next morning but would use the hotel again.

    Lovely Hotel Great Location

    The hotel is in such a great location. It is very close to all the shopping and restaurant areas and about a 50B taxi journey to rassada pier that takes you to Phi Phi Island. The hotel is great for families as it has a lift and very comfortable rooms.

    Great. Have stayed here for many many time s over the last ten years. Great to rent two room with connecting doors if you have children. Easy walking to discount shopping and street food. Must stop to eat next door. Just walk out of the hotel left to the chicken and pork with rice shop. Really good local food for 50 baht a dish.

    The facade of Crystall Inn Hotel looks wonderful with its prominent pink coloured balcony. The lobby was not big but sufficient for a small group of people to sit and laze around the sofa and the tables and chairs meant for the morning breakfast. The receptionist does not speak English well but they were able to understand what we stay and checked us into the room without hesitation. When we realised that the room was located at the back, we asked for a change. We were immediately given a room facing the road. The room contains the basic necessities except no hair-dryer. However with the price we paid, it was value for money. The room including the bathroom was kept very clean except the washing bowl looked jaded and yellowish. The taps were in good order and we had nice bath with good sprays of water. Breakfast served was mainly American breakfast. But for vegetarians, there were porridge and fried mee-hoon. Not fantastic, but we were satisfied with the breakfast. The location of Crystal Inn Hotel is the main attraction for us. Most of the places we wanted to visit could be reached by walking. Walking to the Bus Terminal for the Airport Bus took around 15 minutes. We went to the wet market within five minutes. Directly opposite the hotel is Anda Massage, a clean and no-hanky panky place to rejuvenate.
